What is this book?
The book "Exit" contains the main insights, mistakes and lessons from the journey of Naftali Bennett, a founder and CEO of a successful Israeli startup company. There are many publications on Israel's miracle as an emerging innovation ecosystem, dubbed as "Startup Nation." This book contains not only invaluable tips and advisory for business, entrepreneurship and leadership, but also allows the reader to explore the way many Israeli tech founders think and operate. The book is a compilation of blog posts, written by Naftali Bennett after his successful exit with his company Cyota, in late 2005. The posts were published in Israel between 2006-2012, and were then reposted as a free book, all in Hebrew. This edition of the book is the official English one, which was published by Plus972 in 2021.
WHO IS NAFTALI BENNETT?
Public figure, politician, member of the Israeli parliament (Knesset), former minister in the Israeli Government, leader, veteran elite Israeli army unit commander - Naftali Bennett is indeed all those things. But he is also a successful business leader, tech investor and startup entrepreneur, with more than one exit under his belt. In 2005, Bennett sold his first Israeli startup Cyota to RSA technologies. In the following years, he shared many of his insights and lessons learned from that journey with the Israeli tech community, as compiled in the original Hebrew version of the "exit" book, which was published in 2012. Much has changed since then, but so much has not, which makes much of this book timeless.
